WCN 2006/en
Wikimedia Nederland is organising conference to talk about all kinds of subjects related to wikimedia and its projects. Therefore a call out has been made recently to make contibutions (like lectures, workshops, discussions, etc.). A number of subjects have already been proposed and a committee, consisting in the users Annemiek Kennisnet, effe iets anders, Kim Bruning, RonaldB en Tdevries, is putting together a program based on the subjects that have been proposed.
The goals of this conference are:
- Exchanging knowledge and experience.
- and creating a vision about the future of the wikimedia projects.
The 'prototype' of the program, based on suggestions made by persons who want to present something, can be found below. The discusion at the end of the program is meant to talk about the future of wikimedia and its projects.
In order to organise this event it's important for us to know how big the interest in this event is. Therefor we ask you to sign this list if you are interested in comming to the conference.
Practical information: The confrence will be held in Utrecht. To attend this conference a fee of €15 is charged and afterwards a buffet will be organised, for an additional €17,50. Please don't hesitate to ask questions to one of the orginizers or send an email to wcn AT wikimedia POINT org
