On Friday 10 April, it is possible to attend a guided tour (1 hour) at the Koninklijke Bibliotheek, one of the hosts of the GLAM-WIKI conference.

The tour consists of

• A visit behind the scenes, including the reading rooms and the storage spaces (30 minutes)
• A visit of the Special Collections (30 minutes). You will see some of the KB's treasures with your own eyes, including the
  • Atlas de Wit (Commons, KB-site)
  • Nederlandsche Vogelen (Dutch birds) (Commons, not yet complete, KB-site)
  • Admirandorum Quadruplex Spectaculum (Commons, KB-site)
  • Atlas Ortelius (Commons, KB-site)

- of which the KB has contributed scans to Wikimedia Commons!
